Leaving out-of-town with my girl, she is so excited for her weekend of dance. The friendships she made last year were a huge blessing. These kids are incredible, these educators are incredible. They do not sacrifice dance education for anything less than these kids futures.

This will be the second time she will go through a personal interview from a panel of educators where her resume is discussed and business attire is expected. She will learn choreography with her peers performed as part of the introduction and talent presentation.  She along with her peers are expected to introduce themselves in front of a full audience. They are observed for their technique in multiple dance disciplines scored through the process of audition evaluation classes.  Educators view their individual talent performance on three occasions, tomorrow will be the first.

At the end of it all, one of these kids receives a scholarship. Just one. The professionalism, the real life experience and the caliber of training she gains from the week is worth more than any piece of hardware. Receiving absolutely nothing is more success than these kids could ever ask for because they walk away ready for life.  The college audition process, that job interview…completely prepared for real life.

But the best part of this entire week is that she re-enters the PAC competition portion with her dance team, surrounded with friends. No matter what the dance studio, just friends. None of that division exists.

I could not be more happy for my daughter. Momma will be crying tears of joy. 💜💜💜

When my faith gets tired
And my hope seems lost.
You spin me round and round
And remind me of that song,
The one You wrote for me.
And we dance.
And I will lock eyes,
With the One who’s ransomed me.
The One who gave me joy for mourning.
And I will lock eyes
With the One who’s chosen me
The One who set my feet to dancing.

Loved By Grace Aways & Forever,

Aimee
